At Ruffin' It Resort, we provide an innovative, exciting and FUN alternative to leaving your four-legged friend alone at home. Your dog can run, play, wrestle, chase, play hide and seek, snuggle up with a buddy, get lavished with attention or simply hang out with friends. They will have free run of our indoor play parks and 11,000 square feet of outdoor play yards, both of which are designed just for dogs. All this while under the close supervision of our Resort Caretakers whose primary goals are safety and fun.

Daycare hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am – 6:00pm Ruffin' It offers Saturdaycare every  first and third Saturday of the month.  Drop off times are between 9am - 11am and pick up times are between 4pm - 6pm.  Reservations are required as we do have limited space. What to expect your first day

Please note:  Before your pooch can come and play with us in daycare, you will need to complete Ruffin’ It Resort’s Enrollment Packet which includes specific information about your dog to enable us to make his stay most enjoyable.  We will also need your pooch’s vaccination records from your vet’s office (please see our requirements for further information).  After we have received all the necessary paperwork, we will be happy to set up your dog’s first reservation with us.

On your first day, you and your pup will be welcomed to Ruffin’ It Resort and your pup will be escorted back to one of our play parks.  There he will be greeted by one of our Canine Caretakers.  The Canine Caretaker will then facilitate your pup’s introduction to the rest of the group.  For safety and the well being of your pooch, we do what we call a ‘slow introduction’:  your dog meets one or two other dogs in intervals, rather than meeting all dogs at the same time, which can be overwhelming.  Some dogs will immediately make new friends and have fun playing all day long.  However, it is also normal if it takes a couple sessions before your dog really comes out of his shell.

You may bring food or snacks for your dog, although we do provide all natural treats as positive reinforcement for good behaviors.  Ruffin’ It Resort also offers gourmet treats and 'Yappy Hour' which features chilled doggie sundae treats for $1.75. This first day is a ‘trial' day for your dog.  Sometimes daycare is not a good fit for every dog, although most dogs have a terrific time and make new friends, both four-legged and two-legged.
